The Contribution of Business Education to Persons with Disabilities in Challenging World of Work

Abstract

This paper highlights how business education will assist persons with disabilities with appropriate skills in the challenging world of work. In other to achieve this, the paper discussed the role of business education in inclusive education and service delivery for people with disabilities. The paper highlighted at the concept of Business education and contributions of business education to person with disabilities. In addition, the paper looked at the emergence of inclusive education in Nigeria and forms of service delivery for people with disabilities and opportunities business education offers. The paper concludes that people with disabilities should be encouraged and motivated to enrol into Business Education programme so as to avoid any type of barrier or exclusion in order to promote quality and equitable education. Recommendations were made among which are, there should not be any form of segregation of abled and disabled person in schools and classrooms.
